RezEasy online reservation software
RezEasy online reservation software from Hallisoft provides a fully functional and secure online booking engine with reporting and sales analysis functions. This means that you can accept bookings from your own site using your own software, so you don't have to pay commission to anybody. Its reasonably simple to set up and use, but would require at least an expert user. It also allows travel agents to make reservations via your website. You update room availability, prices and other information over the Internet. RezEasy costs $189 for the basic version, and $599 for the agency version that can handle reservations and bookings from several hotels.
IMS Hotel Reservation Software
IMS offer a selection of software packages/online booking engines designed to handled Internet bookings directly from your website. It allows you to take bookings from your site and automates several associated tasks, such as emailing confirmation. It includes guest contact management, reservation scheduling and booking, occupancy and availability management, guest billing, revenue reporting, and room occupancy analysis. Bookings are managed via a web interface so, once its up and running, you just need to regularly connect to the Internet.
Prices for these online booking engines are $995 for their one-hotel version and $1,595 for their multi-hotel version. There are no transaction charges and the prices include extensive support in getting the software set up.
RezWEB Internet Reservation System
Rezware's real-time Internet reservations system, RezWEB integrates with their Rezware 2000 Reservation system. Rezware 2000 with the RezWEB Internet module lets your online customers book real-time reservations on the Internet through a live interface to and from your back office. RezWEB costs $495 to set up $99 per month thereafter plus $1 per transaction, but you need to use the Rezware 2000 Reservation system as well.
Globekey hotel reservation software
Globekey's property reservation system is hosted on their server with a booking page customised to look like your website. It is simple and particularly sited for smaller hotels. You control your room rates and inventory via a password-protected web interface, which also allows you access to customer's credit card details. The fixed monthly fee ranges from US$45 to US$125 per month, depending on the number of rooms in your property, with no reservation fees. Alternatively you can pay a fixed monthly fee of US$50 per month, plus US$3 per transaction for each reservation made from your website.
Book-A-Rez™ Internet booking engine
The Book-A-Rez™ 3rd-party Internet booking engine allows your customers to book hotel rooms directly from your hotel's web site in real-time. The booking page is actually on Book-A-Rez's system, but has your logo and is customised to make it look like the rest of the pages on your website. Since Book-A-Rez™ is an 'application service provider' you'll pay a set-up fee, a monthly fee and possibly a transaction charge.
EasyBook Reservation Software
EasyBook offer a reservations software package developed for use in hotels, motels, guest houses, B&Bs, lodges & inns. It allows you to input all booking and guest information, and prints confirmation letters, bills and address labels, along with reports. The software runs on windows and is user-friendly. However it doesn't allow you to take bookings over the Internet. EasyBook reservation software costs £199, and can be downloaded from their website. They also offer a free month's trial.
RezView Reservation System
The RezView reservation system from Pegasus Solutions, with its 'NetRez' module, allows online booking and is reconciled with your off-line bookings via the Internet. It also has a large number of other features, from accounting, customer relationship management, etc. The capabilities and features of this system suit it more to larger hotels. Pegasus Solutions is an 'application service provider' you'll pay a set-up fee for RezView, along with a monthly fee and possibly a transaction charge.
